Purely out of curiosity, is there a specific reason this tag was left out until now?
Not that I know. But like I wrote, I think that this conflicts with building=* (which is shown in the same color without a TYP file). I used the little known feature of the style language to not generate landuse=residential at resolution 24 (the only resolution where building=* is generated). Marko
