That's a shame, I was hoping to be able to lose the /cityname suffix but if the region names are wrong, I'd rather have the suffix.
On the nuvi the behavior is also strange. It looks that the POI address info is not used for all point types. For cities the region is displayed after the name. If no region is set the country is displayed. If I select a city from the list only the city name and the country is displayed.
So, please make your new functionality be enabled by an option rather than being the default behaviour and, if enabled, don't add the /cityname suffix to the road name pois as it's no longer required.
With the Street POIs I think we should keep the added cityname since the region country is never displayed in the search list. If I use the default POI type 0x640a no address information is displayed if I select it from the list. Using 0x2900 (Uncategorized buisiness) works better. At least I get address info if I select the poi but still no region info in the list. Looks like Etrax and Nuvi behave different in this case. I have added some screen shots ... I think adding a option is a good idea since most countries have very poor is_in information right now. Thanks Berni.
