Hi GErd, if you use DEM with voids, voids are visible as areas with no shading. When you move mouse cursor over voids, Mapsource doesn't show height. Now this is unexpected: both areas can be misaligned. It looks like there are different procedures for calculating shading area and DEM heights area. I have tested maps from your demmove set. For all version areas are misaligned, differences are from 25 to 80m. On the same maps compiled with bicubic patch, areas are aligned. -- Best regards, Andrzej
