Reworked top-level loop that waits for the parallel jobs to complete. Appears to use a lot less CPU and could possibly influence the weird problems some were reporting on Windows/Mac And Linux (for me).
OK - I didn't realise that it was happening on Linux too (sorry if this was pointed out earlier, I missed that).
No, I probably didn't mention it.
- please retest with this version. Seems fix it for me. No more missing tiles with my previously-tested Benelux maps. For good measure, I also split and tested yesterdays europe.osm.bz2 (geofabrik): no problem there either.
Of course, I can't be entirely sure that there aren't any corner-cases left which still only fail with multiple threads. But for me, this works just fine. Thanks!
