I had a better test of V1 earlier and couldn't get my 605 to send me down a restricted road. I added V3 and could still compile from great_britain.osm so it's a thumbs up from me although I haven't tested V3 maps. As noted earlier by someone else GPSMapEdit does seem to ignore these but actual devices honour them Paul Mark Burton wrote:

Here's the current code - not much different from the previous versions, just a few tweaks to some diagnostics and avoid NPEs here and there.
Unless some bad problems show up, or anyone has any issues with the implementation, I shall be looking to commit this to the trunk in a day or two.
