Hi all, while testing the overview map code, I noticed that it is not necessarey to write closed shapes (first = last point). Within mkgmap however, we sometimes detect a shape by testing this. So, I think it is a good idea to ignore the obsolete last point while writing to and add it (if needed) when reading from an img file. This reduces run time a little bit and the size of the img files is ~ 2% smaller. Attached patch implements this, the binary is here: http://files.mkgmap.org.uk/download/127/mkgmap.jar write_unclosed_shapes_v1.patch <http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/file/n5763674/write_unclosed_shapes_v1.patch> Gerd -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/Patch-v1-write-unclosed-shapes-tp5763674.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
