Actually I have no idea, why every tile of your map gets its own family-ID. I am not sure whether this is related to your problem, but typically all maps belonging to the same mapset (or layer) get all the same family-ID. And normally the family-ID is uch lower than your values, typically in the two digit range. Gruss Torsten
