Some people seem to prefer to omit ways through areas, such as amenity=parking,parking=surface or highway=pedestrian areas (plazas or squares). That tends to break routing too. I came across a funny incident some time ago. When I routed to a POI that was along a plaza, the Garmin Edge 705 somehow chose to use gmapbmap.img, apparently because there was a major highway in the basemap running next to the POI. Renaming the gmapbmap.img did trigger a routing error. Marko
