Sorry, I thought MapSource usage is common on this list. The red areas are where the map was completely rendered and you can mark them for upload. The grey and yelllow areas are rendered only on the lowest resolution, so they cannot marked for upload. The rendering process is broken, but mkgmap doesn't give any hint why. NSIS is an alternative to MapSetToolkit? I'm satisfied with MapSetToolkit, I don't think it has anything to do with the problem. Do you have to use cgpsMapper with NSIS?
Are you sure the *.tdb file fits to the installed map tiles in Mapsource? After creating the tiles, try to run a command like this on the *.img tiles and install the created files (index, tdb, overview, ..) to mnapsource and check again. java -jar mkgmap.jar" --tdbfile --index *.img If you install/change *.img tiles, remember that Mapsource has some kind of tile cache and you may see old tiles displayed. Try zooming in+out as well as panning to refresh the cache. Peter
