Mark, the wiki page about restrictions

says I can put a key except with the following values/meaning:
except - psv/bicycle/hgv/motorcar - The restriction does not apply to these vehicle types (more than one: except=bicycle;psv)
So do you mean that mkgmap does not actually support/handle the except key in a relation restriction?
Err, no - sorry. Almost certainly, there is some Garmin magic to express such an exception but we don't know about it! Cheers, Mark
