Hi all, I am not sure what to think about the suggestions. My understanding of the feature is that it can help to ease address search, but this only works when the user is able to guess the list of prefix1 words, correct? So, when you create the map for your own, use whatever you like, else I would try to keep the list short so that it only contains the most obvious prefixes. In Germany we also have prefixes like An, Auf, Beim, Zum etc. but they are not used that often, so I did not add them to the sample. Reg. suffixes I am not so sure, they are probably less harmfull. Only things omitted are "de las", "de los", "la" and "el" suffixes for portuguese (can be added to local files by anyone who want to use them) and removal of English prefixes, which may need some more discussion. Please check if I missed something and comment improvements.

is not a good idea here for two reasons: 1/ It is very rare for there to be a "way" where an initial compass point is not a significant part of its name. 2/ "ways" like "North Street", "West Way", "East View", "South Parade" etc are very common.
Generally, the suffix should be removed first and, if removing the prefix gives an empty result, the prefix should be restored.
