You did set the POI to be completely transparent in typfile already, I assume? But yes, Garmin from time to time breaks things if they don't use them and never fix them again. Well sometimes they break things that are inside their own maps too and don't fix em. I would rather say they are largely incompetent (e.g. no decent Mapsource version since 6.13.6/6.13.7)
