And the behaviour changes when I use a different typ file. My boyfriend had an idea: He said that these string errors normally are caused by bad terminated strings how we know them from C-Programs, not from Java. So perhaps the img-file is somehow wrong built together causing the internal Garmin software to output strange strings. That makes sense in my opinion. Dani
