I'm using r1860 of the index branch for my public map download. So far, I've seen no crash reports both on mapsource and basecamp and my unit. I think this is good enough for the beginner's tool version. IMO, this is a good release to introduce beginners to the new search/index feature. The Wiki states 1625, which appears a little bit dated. However, from this list I gather that quite a lot is going on at them moment so the latest build might not be the best idea. So which version would you recommend as most reliable?
