Hi Bernhard, Playing around with my etrex, I can see that if a POI has a city and region associated with it, the "map info" box on the GPS shows the city and region names. That's nice because the /cityname that's currently being appended to the road name could be removed. Unfortunately, if the POI city does not have a region then the city name doesn't show up in the "map info" box. That's why I added the /cityname suffix in the first place. It was a hack to get over the fact that the city name was not being shown (automatically) by the gps. That's a shame, I was hoping to be able to lose the /cityname suffix but if the region names are wrong, I'd rather have the suffix. So, please make your new functionality be enabled by an option rather than being the default behaviour and, if enabled, don't add the /cityname suffix to the road name pois as it's no longer required.
