You could add source=extrapolation to the corridor footways you make up, or you could add access=private to the bridge and modify the style so that access=private bridges are omitted. I already did something similar to access=private tunnels (leading to underground facilities, which would be confusing to see when moving above the facility).
I just want to make sure that little section of footway gets excluded from routing as it is not connected to the rest of the map, except through the building polygon itself.
What if you converted the bridge to a building polygon, layer=1 or so? Best regards, Marko
