You can try to comment this line in StyledConverter: wrongAngleFixer.optimizeWays(roads, lines, modifiedRoads, deletedRoads, restrictions, allPOI); You should see worse results in res 24, maybe you see better results in res 23. Look at the screenshots - the small one is resolution 23, the big one 24. If using 10m interval contourlines this is pretty obviously not ideal.
