Version mkgmap-r3734 was committed by gerd on Mon, 19 Dec 2016 catch possible "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal Capacity: -1" in ShapeMergeFilter. Happened with two shapes which both use the same points but uses some points multiple times (self-intersection). http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/websvn/revision.php?repname=mkgmap&rev=3734
