I've made my tests with version r1867.
The latest r1939. I think the relevant question is: which release of the protobuf.jar and the osmbin.jar do you use and which one should I use?

I was able to split germany with the new pfb support and the tiles were fine. I'll give it second try with the europe dump... WanMil
