I've been following the "sea floods" topic and have found that ,yes, a x4b polygon is not needed to generate 'non flooding' seas. However, I 'm finding ,I need to include x4b at draworder=0 (sea at order 1 & land at 2) to override Mapsource's hideous basemap, It works brilliantly - all islands appear; no flooding, even in the most 'challenging' circumstances and no basemap! Unfortunately, those tiles are not routable as mkgmap --routes only seems to work with a default style. Is there any way of tweaking mkgmap? Many Thanks Nick

Hi! According to the wiki, the last revision of mkgmap recommended as more-or-less stable is 1188. [PATCH v1] flare road checking bug fixes

The good news is that this should now no longer falsely complain about a flare road being the wrong direction when that flare road pair are the only roads connected to a given roundabout. The bad news is that it will now find more bad flare roads than it did before - and you thought you had fixed them all!

subway_entrance and taxi

Hi! For my maps I made icons for "subway_entrance" and "amenity=taxi", since these are things that at least I really need to know. They are shown on the map, but when I navigate with the pointer to them, they never will be highlighted.I get just info for things like streets, etc. In potlatch I saw that e.g. a taxi is tagged with a phonenumber and so it would be really nice to be able to select it and read the phonenumber in my Garmin device. What am I doing wrong? Dani

Etrex sea floods tile unless well zoomed out

I just noticed on my etrex that tiles that touch the coastline are flooded when zoomed in less than about 30Km. Neither mapsource or the nuvi show the same problem with the same map (this is with --generate-sea=polygons). When zoomed out, the coastline looks fine. Anyone else seen this? got a fix? Mark

v2 - further fixes Carlos, this still gives you an extra "turn left onto Calle Osa Mayor" and I know what's happening there but can't fix it - how about the other problems you were seeing? better/worse? -------- Hopefully, these changes will fix the bad routing directions we have been seeing recently - please test and report success/failure.

Now, if an arc is used as an outgoing arc, don't let its heading be changed when processing a later incoming arc. This requires that the incoming arcs are processed in decreasing order of class/speed so that the "bigger" roads are matched first.
