Garmin Family ID's

Hi list, Someone reported me a conflict between an identical Family ID (OFM Europe Scandinavia 10132 vs. Radreiskarte). Is there a wiki list somewhere where we can put our map ID's to avoid those conflicts? Maybe Aighes can confirm I have to revise my ID's for my Europe map (10130-10137?)

When pois are added to areas for search reasons, is there any way of identifying them in the 'points' style file, to avoid them appearing on the map? check if road is connected to one side only

Would it be (without too much programming effort, nor too much computation time) possible to extend the current is connected check, to check for streets/lines connected to one side only? I would love to have road_class and road_speed lowered by 2- respectively -1 if this is the case.... Advantage would be a nicer routing graph I imagine - and thereby maybe a little improvement for long distance routing... -- keep on biking and discovering new trails Felix openmtbmap.org & www.velomap.org

@ Steve In this block certain bytes are always set to 01 c3 00 ff 00 00 00. Interestingly, a) I 've never encountered 01 c3 , always 01 01 b) It looks like the FF is part of a 4 byte number, indicating some total; could be nodes of some kind. In part of London (TOPO GB2) I have 81 0E 07 00 Any thoughts about this part of the 4C block always being set? Is there a way how to add a poi address via the style file. The automatic generated poi address has the advantage, that the address is separated from the name, but has the disadvantage, that the country is not printed, a line feed is missing before the phone number, and it's not configurable. Can I switch this address generation of (e.g. with --no-poi-address) and add my own address code in the style (e.g. set mkgmap:address=${addr:street} ...) I want to establish the order I need via a preprocessing. This preprocessor (programmed by Malcolm) is already working perfectly. All I need from mkgmap is not to mix up this order. I just hope that the Garmin device does not mix up the order, also. I am not sure yet , but chances are not bad.
