I am trying to make a small marine chart for a friend's Garmin Chartplotter (I don't have one myself). This is the command line : java -jar mkgmap.jar --gmapsupp --family-id=7499 --overview-mapname=ReefMap --custom --series-name=ReefMap --index --location-autofill=is_in,nearest --input-file="E:\sheahan\77776666.mp" Although visible in Basecamp and Homeport the device says "The Map Format is not supported" Is it a matter of changing options in MKGMap or is my mission impossible? John Thorn ps the Polygon Types are just a random selection - finding what colours are available is the next phase.

address search with polish format (*.mp) without NOD data

Hi all, attached is a patch that changes behaviour for the polish reader (*.mp) so that address search is working when you have a file that contains neither "RoadId" nor lines starting with "Nod". Thanks to John Thorn I've learned that cGPSMapper doesn't need that data to produce a map that supports address search. The patch also fixes a bug in the polish reader for house numbers: The reader used to ignore lines like this: Numbers3=4,N,-1,-1,N,-1,-1 because the number style is NONE for both sides. The patch changes this because the important information is that previous interval ends at this node. A binary based on r4287 is here: http://files.mkgmap.org.uk/download/450/mkgmap.jar Those who use *.mp files as input: please try it, esp. when you use options --net or --route with this format.
