Hi Another problem discovered when investigating indexes. If you have a map with cities but no streets, MDR5 sets the flag that indicates MDR20 indexes are present, and writes an erroneous byte after each record. Attached patch fixes and adds some more flag documentation. Regards Ticker

Hi, I'm trying to exclude pois of ways that are connected to each other like this: s1--way1--e1 s2--way2--e2 With s1=start node of way1 and e1 = end node s2 is the same node as e1. In the points file I like to render only points s1 and e2 but not e1 / s2 I have tried these two rules but they will render respectively s2 and e1 too: mkgmap:line2poitype=start & mkgmap:line2poitype!=end & (bridge=* | tunnel=*) [0x2819 resolution 24] mkgmap:line2poitype=end & mkgmap:line2poitype!=start & (bridge=* | tunnel=*) [0x2819 resolution 24] My goal is to render a poi only at the beginning and end of a bridge/tunnel, that consists of many way segments. How can I exclude those in between start and end points?

Commit r4285: add tag mkgmap:way-length for each POI generated from a line when option --add-pois-to-lines is used. It gives the way length rounded to meters.

length() and mkgmap:line2poitype

Hi, I'd like to add specific pois for restricted access on bridges and tunnels with mkgmap:line2poitype, but not all bridges are as important, only the longer ones. This is working: mkgmap:line2poitype=start & (bridge=* | tunnel=*) & (bicycle:conditional=* | access:conditional=* | vehicle:conditional=*) { name 'bicycle=${bicycle:conditional}' | 'access=${access:conditional}'| 'vehicle=${vehicle:conditional}'} [0x2809 resolution 24] However, it is not possible to add the length() operator into the points style file, because I don't want small short bridges. I know I can use the lines style file, but adding a custom line tag like restricted_access_on_bridges=yes and use this in the points style does not seem to work. I know I can add this line to the map and render it, but I prefer a point symbol, not another line on a already huge pile of lines on top of each other. Is this because points are processed before lines? Is there another trick I can use?

Execute mkgmap 4284 error

Trying to execute mkgmap (4284) with the following options: /path/to/jre1.8.0_91/bin/java -Xms3000m -Xmx3000m -jar ../mkgmap-r4284/mkgmap.jar -c osm_nl.args -c netherlands/template.args 25010.txt The error that i immediately get is: Time started: Mon Apr 01 10:35:47 CEST 2019 Error in style: Error: (inc/compat_lines:124): expected yes/no for set/addaccess, got '=' Setting max-jobs to 2 Could not open style Number of ExitExceptions: 1 if i decompress the jav file is see that the line 124 is written down as: mkgmap:carpool_compat=yes { setaccess no; set mkgmap:bus=yes; set mkgmap:emergency=yes; set mkgmap:carpool=yes } Is anybody also familiar with this?
