[PATCH v1] show OSM source file name in log messages

The attached patch adds the OSM source file name into log messages so if you are processing multiple files, you know which file each message relates to. The file name (plus a ':' suffix) is inserted between the message type/class and the message itself. Please test, especially if using multiple jobs. Mark

It seems like a good idea to also pull an available EQUALS to the front ahead of an EXISTS. This was the behaviour prior to these patches and may help performance - it certainly reduced the randomness of the action evaluation order somewhat.

Help from the style file gurus

Hello list, Question #1 =========== I am using the overlays style file in combination with a TYP file to define custom styles for one-way streets (overlaid blue arrows in the direction of the one-way, type 0x10), and for bridges (two parallel lines outside the road, type 0x12). This all works fine. Where I'm stuck is when I have a one-way street that is also a bridge. I had assumed that the stop/continue system would help me here, but sadly it doesn't work as I expected. The following are my style rules for trunk roads: #lines file excerpt: highway=trunk & (bridge=yes | bridge=true) [0x111 resolution 16 continue] highway=trunk & oneway!=* [0x02 resolution 16 stop] highway=trunk & (oneway=yes | oneway=true) [0x123 resolution 16 stop] #overlays file excerpt: 0x111: 0x02, 0x12 0x123: 0x02, 0x10 Applying these rules results in one-way bridges having the bridge styling, but no one-way symbols (see attached screenshot; the fact that the railway is plotted on top of the bridge is quite another problem). Can a style guru point me towards where I'm going wrong? Question #2 =========== Does the stop/continue system work across style files? In other words, if I've got a polygon that is tagged: sport=tennis barrier=fence And in my style files I've got: #lines barrier=fence [0x2d resolution 23 default_name 'Fence'] #polygons sport=* [0x19 resolution 23] mkgmap by default will process the lines file first and plot the fence. It will not then process the polygons file, so all I see in the resulting map is a fence. Can I use continue/stop (once I've learned how to use it properly) to plot both the fence and the area? MapSource cannot transfer

Hi, I have created my latest topo map using Mkgmap r1466. When I install the map in Mapsource everything looks fine. But when I try to transfer a few tiles of the map to my GPS after the "Building map set" stage I get this error: "The map set is approximately 54.6 MB, but only 2048.0 MB is available in the destination. Please choose a smaller map set and try again." I tried a different map (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:Radfahrer) and it worked fine, so it's not a general problem of my Mapsource installation. Any ideas?

Flooding in Germany

I let my PC compile for the last several hours. All countries but... seem allright: 1. Australia-Oceania from Geofabrik simply misses a lot of sea. No apparent flooding though. Also the overview map has undefined holes, which should not happen IMHO. 2. Well no flooding but... in Germany. I do think that the splitter has somehow created the problem. I have uploaded the broken tile for analysis here: http://openmtbmap.x-nation.de/maps/beta/63710031.osm.gz 3. And I have no idea at all why this is happening. When I zoom into Athen, 700m or 200m (medium detail) crashes Mapsource. (6.13.6 as well as 6.15.7). Not sure what is happening here. Depending on the sea complexity some countries really take a lot more time for rendering now. (Norway went from 5 minutes to 45 minutes). I don't really mind as my upload speed is still a lot slower than my PC compiling on my weekly updates. I have not yet tested the patch for closing the sea, will do so. I noticed
